Stop School Funding Cuts - All Our Children Deserve a Great Education
Schools across England are facing devastating funding cuts.
This is already harming our children's education.
Fair Funding For All Schools is an independent, parent-led campaign, working to stop the cuts to school funding through parent and people-power.
Without increased investment cuts are likely to result in:
· Cuts to teachers and support staff
· Class sizes of up to 40
· Parents contributing to core running costs
· School days shortened to save money
· Cuts to subjects such as music and languages
We want to tell Justine Greening, our Secretary of State for Education:
- to increase investment in our schools
- and ensure NO child loses out as a result of the new funding formula - taking money away from any of our schools is wrong.
We are demanding our government gives our schools the funding it promised – and recognises that investment in education is an investment both in the future of our children and of our country.
Please sign our petition calling on the government to keep its promise and protect all our children’s education.

- Secretary of State for Education
Rt Hon Justine Greening MP
I am very concerned about real terms cuts to pupil funding faced by schools in my community.
Schools across the country are already facing an impossible financial situation, with real terms reductions in per pupil funding at a time of increasing costs.
The National Funding Formula will be taking money from hard pressed schools in many parts of the country. But even those schools that gain will still be facing real terms cuts that will outweigh any benefit.
We want to see fair and transparent pupil funding. No one can argue against adjusting what seems like an unfair system. But shifting money from some schools to others, while shrinking the whole pot is doing no one any favours and is not my idea of fairness.
As Secretary of State, I want you to press the government for a fair and sustainable funding settlement that:
Increases investment in all our schools by protecting per-pupil funding in real terms for the life of this Parliament
Provides the additional funding needed to implement a national funding formula which increases funding for maintained schools and academies in comparatively poorly funded areas of England without cutting funding per pupil for schools in any other part of the country - level up, not down.
