Family channels have always been controversial. 
What may have started out as an innocent way for a families to share their day-to-day lives has turned in to a sinister get rich quick scheme by certain individuals. 

The privacy of children and their ability to make choices about what is shared about them online is paramount. Family vlogger channels abuse their power and influence to manipulate their children in to taking part in their online vlogs in order to maintain views and a constant source of income for their families. 

Below the age of 14, children should not be able to be used as a source of material for Vlogs. YouTube should not be able to monetize videos with children as the main source of content. There is a great risk to these children and their future mental health and well-being by being exposed constantly on the Internet. 

This petition targets families who use their children as a source of income without any regulation on Youtube. Sharing the personal lives of children violates their independence, their privacy and their ability to control who has access to them online.
