Richard Bernard Moore is scheduled to be executed April 29th, 2022 for the murder of a convenience store clerk during a robbery in 1999. Due to lethal injection shortages in South Carolina, he has to choose between being executed via firing squad or electric chair.

Moore's execution is a direct violation of the Bill of Rights under the U.S. Constitution, specifically the 8th Amendment which states "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Moore's lawyers are attempting to make an appeal to the Supreme Court to delay the execution.

Please sign this petition to let SC lawmakers know that you object to the cruel and unusual execution of Richard Bernard Moore!
