Having balloons at parties is a fun activity, but did you know that it can cost a seabird’s life?

When you use balloons and throw them on the ground, they will end up in the sea, and seabirds will eat them and die.

1 million seabirds die a year from consuming plastic. Some seabirds even feed balloons to their babies.

If we do not stop, seabirds will become extinct in Australia because they will eat plastic and die.

There are many other things to use instead of balloons. You can use bubbles instead of balloons because they do not kill seabirds. You can make bubbles at home with soap and water. You can even make the wand with a paperclip.
