STOP R1 -> C2 Zoning on Snow Hill Rd & Shortail Springs Rd

The current tenants of Snow Hill Market Place have purchased house across the street and now trying to rezone the traditional R1 area into C2 (Commercial zoning) on an already busy road/intersection that has limited infrastructure. This rezoning would create massive congestions/safety issues on Snow Hill Rd and the neighborhoods on Short Tail Springs turning onto Snow Hill Road. This area already has a number or accidents.
The current tenants of Snow Hill Grocery have degraded the esthetics of property along with leaving dilapidated limo with broken out windows, flat tires and engine issues along with unsightly signage, tacky lights and more on their current location. Why would anyone think this wouldn't be exacerbated with a change of the R1 to C2 location across the street depressing property values.
Additional research also shows that the Snow Hill Grocery Store and Kansa Grocery Stores are not registered companies with the State of Tennessee or DBAs for another company. Further tax/state records show layers of different owner/relationships:
A & A Chaudhari, Inc shows Ileshbhai B Patel as the Registered Agent for this company. Ileshbhai B Patel is the property owner 7303 Snow Hill Rd and requesting the rezoning. It also shows A & A Chaudhari has ties to Shankar Chaudhari which is also associated with Arbuda, Inc.. There is more investigation underway. All of this information is on public record in Tennessee and Georgia.
C2 zoning in Hamilton County allow the following (Convenience Commercial, intended for retail, consumer service, financial, restaurant, and office uses). You may get a Check Into Cash, CBD store, convenience store or worse. The community needs to push RPA / County Commissioners on zoning that aligns with our use plan and wishes to ensure safety and property values.
Do we need this increased congestion on an already overcrowded and constrained infrastructure?
