I'm half Taiwanese. The severity of marijuana in Taiwan is too high. This really propels the organized crime to profit from this rather harmless drug, more harmless than alcohol. Instead if Taiwan legalizes marijuana, it can be in a controlled market, it can help reduce strain on Taiwanese prisons (most prisoners are drug related, keep the sellers and other substance related cases in jail, just marijuana users should be released). It would also act a huge huge tourism boom, being one of the first asian countries to hypothetically legalize marijuana.
The law may say 50/50 division of assets, but that is not how it often works. Lawyers have access to your financial worth and will often take a huge percentage based on what you have in your bank account or value of home. Beyond that, some parents refuse to disclose monies, and the lawyer-ism needed to obtain transparency will cost more than it is emotionally and financially worth in the end.... Until divorce is turned into a not for profit business; the suicides, murders, depression, parental alienation, loss of time from work, false allegations, bankruptcies, long term emotional damage to children and all the rest of the cancer that goes along with Canada's billion dollar divorce industry will continue as judges & lawyers stuff their pockets full of money. Peace.
