안녕하세요 청소년 환경보호단체 리가드입니다. 

현재의 제주

수십 년간 제주는 쓰레기 문제로 피해를 보고 있습니다. 우리 제주는 돌, 바람, 여자가 많다하여 삼다도로 불렸지만, 최근에 쓰레기의 수가 기하급수적으로 증가해 쓰레기를 포함한 사다도라고 불려도 과언이 아닙니다. 

해안가와 산에 관광객들이 무심코 버리는 쓰레기, 우리 제주의 환경을 해하고 아름다운 생태계를 망치고 있습니다. 자연과 사람이 공존하며 지켜오던 평화의 섬 제주가 하루 평균 쓰레기량으로 전국에서 1위를 기록했습니다. 우리 모두의 지원이 없으면 플라스틱 쓰레기 문제는 절대 해결될 수 없습니다. 

서명식의 목적과 미래지향

이 서명식이 1만 명의 청원을 받으면 저희 단체는 제주도의 해안 주변의 여러 매점을 운영하는 기업들과 상의해 두 가지의 해결책을 내놓을 예정입니다. 그 두 가지 중 첫 번째는 많은 음료수에 있는 라벨과 같이 불필요하고 거추장스러운 플라스틱 부분들을 무라벨 음료수 물병과 같은 제품들로 교체해서 제주도의 해안과 해양들에 버려지는 쓰레기들을 줄이는 것입니다. 그리고 두 번째는 그 플라스틱들이 자연에 들어가지 않도록 재활용을 더 쉽게 하는 것입니다.

Hello, We are an eco-friendly youth organization called RE: GUARD.

Current situations on Jeju Island

For the past decade, Jeju has suffered from numerous plastic pollution issues. Tourists carelessly abandoning trashes has harmed Jeju’s golden ecosystem. With nature and humans coexisting together, Jeju has converted into an island recording the highest plastic consumption. 

Future Plans for this petition:

If we get petitions from 10,000 environmental activists, we would cooperate with the companies operating the various stores near tourist places in two ways. To begin with, we would minimize the plastic trash intercepting the natural environment. For example, by changing the vinyl labels in plastic bottles to no-label bottles, we can reduce the astronomical amount of plastic waste. Next, we would make recycling easier to prevent those plastic waste from reaching the oceans.
