Persimmon Homes have put up a planning notice to build opposite the Palmerston Heights development in Derriford, Plymouth. Some residents were specifically told before purchasing their houses that this particular area of land with trees and wildlife would NOT be developed on.Yet again, Robbie Brown at Persimmon has gone against this and is thinking of his own personal gain and his profit.  The residents on the estate (many of who still have snagging lists outstanding after years of living here!) have not been considered in any way and we are all pulling together to have this ridiculous planning application declined. 

If this goes ahead we will be overlooked by a tall apartment block rather than the lovely scenery and wildlife we currently have. These 63 apartments and commercial unit will in turn create noise pollution, trouble with parking (which is already an issue due to the new road being constructed) & no grassed area for our children to play (as the park we were promised before purchasing the house has not been delivered). He has also not taken into consideration wildlife conservation as we currently have deer, owls, bats, foxes and lots of different species of bird in this area which we all enjoy and want to protect.

Please take a moment to sign this petition in the hope that the residents of Palmerston Heights get to keep the lovely area we live in and the type of area we were promised we were purchasing.
