Ilford parking restrictions will cost local residents and small businesses . They say it’s to stop people parking and getting on the new Elizabeth line - this is a lie! In Richmond the council put restrictions in place for NO cost to residents. Their restrictions say permit holders only before 10 am and between 4 and 6 pm . Therefore anyone can park in these zones after 10 am and before 4pm -6pm . This keeps parking open to local people without charging them. I also believe residents pay nothing for their permit.
WHY isn’t Ilford doing the same sensible thing ? Because the majority of residents do not speak up for themselves and allow local councillors to do want they want for their benefit! They are using this as a TAX on the poor and hard working people of Ilford . SToP the greedy council NOW ! Have your day before 7th August! Act now!
