Stop Norwich City Councils Re-possessions designed to destroy a Housing Co-operative.
We are renting "according to the terms on our rent books" for 28 years.
Norwich City Council offered to "upgrade our Lease" under threat of eviction and refuse to give us copies of our 1987 tenancies, or copies of the 1997 Lease they suggest we have. We stated that "a Lease should be negotiated" and employed a Solicitor to re-write it, but NCC ignored our Reps, refused to meet with us, said "we will get back to you" then (after 8 months) applied to court to re-possess. Despite the notices being defective on 4 counts - with a nod and a wink we were ushered through we have prepared our defence and are in court on the 28th
