I used to live in North bay and went to school there. Please protect the endangered species and insist North Bay follow the act. Protect the wetlands!

Totally, absolutely indefensible. WHAT do they THINK "ENDANGERED" means?? Personally I think there should be even more stringent controls over developers and increased protection for ALL indigenous species unless all the "elected people" look forward to seeing Ontario become like areas of the Amazon where everything has been sacrificed to the gods of $$ and "development"

This brings us back to the basic importance of stricter international birth control laws, education for women, particularly in developing countries, and increased education funding in general. Statistics show countries with strong education focus and funding have less children. Without the population explosion there would be no need for further development.
