After several weeks of silence from the Supervisor and Town Board, finally an email was sent to residents acknowledging Verizon is installing “Advanced Fiber Cable” and all inquiries should be made to Verizon…by the way, this is NOT for FIOS. Scotia and Schenectady also had such an agreement, but Verizon didn’t dig up lawns, they upgraded on the telephone poles.

As a Niskayuna resident, my signature indicates that I do not want my lawn dug up and adorned with an ugly metal box that will devalue my property value.
