Baptist Health plans to build a centralized pharmacy on New Moody Lane in La Grange KY. Currently they are planning to build a multi-level pharmacy, warehouse and associated offices right behind the homes in Phase I of Cherrywood neighborhood along with a new access road for semi traffic that will run directly behind these homes. This new pharmacy, warehouse, office, and new road will cause additional traffic, lights, and significant noise for the homeowners living in Phase I which could potentially bring down property values and have environmental impacts to the wildlife in the area. 

While the Homeowners do not necessarily oppose the addition of the pharmacy and warehouse, they are strongly opposed to the additional access road for semi's that will run directly behind their homes as there are better ways to access the area such as widening New Moody Lane and routing semi traffic off the new exit.

There are two opportunities for public input related to the Baptist Health Pharmacy/Warehouse.

The first is November 16th at 1pm. The Technical Review Committee will review the agencies and utilities serving the proposed development which will present comments about this development. There will be no decisions made at this meeting, however questions and comments about homeowners concerns may be heard. 

The second is December 5th at 8:30 am. The La Grange Board of Adjustments will consider a Conditional Use Permit for a medical facility in R-4 Zoning. This public hearing will allow comments for both support and opposition the project before the board considers approval or denial of the application.
