Stop Netflix from making more anime adaptations.

Stop Netflix from making more anime adaptations.
Why this petition matters
Anime has been a great part of my growing up. I remember watching Dragon Ball after school on Toonami. Throughout those years, it had opened up more avenues of entertainment, storyline that, at that time, western animation lacked, anime covered controversial subjects and discussed philosophical subjects that most western animation would seem too adult for children to understand. Indeed, it has shaped me, not just as a consumer, but as a sympathetic human being. Therefore, what I see today, not only is it an affront to the past, but to the future of Japanese and adult animation. Live action shows based on anime not only ruin the reputation of the artists who have created such amazing shows, but dare to lie about their reasoning in creating live action in the first place. They say they pay homage, but they mock the shows they get their ideas from and change so much of it, that it barely resembles what it originally was. First Death Note became a death rattle, then Cowboy Bebop turns into a parody of an amazing story and now YuYu Hakusho's reputation stands on the line. I for one am tired of these cheap attempts to recreate something that people with their delicate sensibilities can find more consumable. If they don't feel comfortable watching anime then let them watch something without substance, there's plenty of "reality" shows out there and we can start with this petition to stop Netflix from creating more live adaptations of beloved anime shows and movies.
