It's a ridiculous idea. There are plenty of park space next to the golf course which is underutilised

This is a world class, professionally designed golf course. While Sydney Council cannot control the planning of the new developments, the residents in this over developed area do have Moore Park and Centennial Park to enjoy. Once gone, this world class Golf Corse cannot be replaced. PS I am not a Golfer

It’s a totally ridiculous idea yet again encroaching on the green spaces in our City.

Its important to retain as much green around the city as possible. That part of it is a golf course (amongst the centennial park, Hyde Park, the domain, lady Maquarie's chair etc) only provides additional health options for the people that wish to play. Do not remove half the course for further development.

The city needs more green spaces. These golf clubs might be for the elite but many thousands of small animals and birds find refuge there. The land will be sold off for high rise housing. Sydney what are they trying to do to you?

This should not happen on the "Green Route from the Eastern Suburbs" which kept me sane every morning on a bus from Randwick to the city for 20 years to my job. I always thought the hallowed green land on Anzac Parade was untouchable, but apparently not. In the 2020 virus crisis I recall logging in to a National Film Archive special to see Life in Sydney film and what stays with me is the same hurly-burley I saw at junction of Anzac Parade and Sth Dowling St as if it was the same as today. Take Moore Park Golf Course away then we will be less than we were in 1920. LR

Because i value the green space offered to Eastern Suburbs via Moore Park Gold Club when I used to travel to work via it 40yrs ago, also want to ask why you don't make it easier for people to sign the petition via the e/mails you send to personal e/mail addresses? I dont normally use facebook but have logged in to facebook to hopefully sign the petition. You need to make it easier for people to sign petition. I only found this news due to being social member of a golf club to attend their Trivia night but i am appalled that perhaps half of it will be sold. It's what I always called 'the Green Route" to the city from Randwick for the 20yrs I travelled to the city to work. Hands off the Green Route. L. R.

We need green space in the suburbs, not more housing in an already over crowded area
