WiFi calling is a feature that allows calls and SMS to be made when connected to WiFi using contract UK allowance. However mobile phone companies now block this when abroad.

Why?

Because they then charge upto £7 per day when we are abroad to make even a 1 minute call home or send 1 text message. They are making profit on monthly fees we already pay to them when we should be allowed to use WiFi calling  

Let’s put pressure on government to insist WiFi calling works wherever you are in the world not just when in UK as we are being ripped off again unnecessarily by big mobile phone companies
