Before the mining started in our area, our crops were abundant and the harvest was good and the fields were beautiful, but now it has been damaged due to the mining in our area,causing hardship and giving low income.

Mining affects farming in different ways including loss of farm lands, Competition for limited farm labor; Increase cost of other farm input and environmental pollution which adversely affect the quality of farming in the mining area.
