The property at 32 Weed Ave currently known as Lakota Oaks, has signed a lease with  the Schoolhouse Academy and wishes to become a pre-K to 12 School. They are hoping to have up to 650 students and staff coming on and off the property daily. Here is their website https://www.schoolhouseacademy.net/ . 

Due to the high volume of traffic it will cause and the possibility of limiting our access to the hiking trails, among many other concerns, the West Norwalk Association strongly opposes this use of the property and will be fighting as best we can. Although nothing is scheduled, it is expected that the public hearing will be at the June P&Z meeting.
