Stop Jamaican schools from Discriminatingly depriving students from education

Stop Jamaican schools from Discriminatingly depriving students from education
Why this petition matters
It is time the Jamaican government be petitioned to act on the schools that are depriving our children of a proper education.
Every child deserves the right to an education, regardless of the expressive individuality. Children in Jamaica on a daily basis are being denied this simple right because of their attire.
Let’s keep it short and simple!!
Jamaicans ask yourselves these questions are we not free people? Do we not have the right to freedom of expression? Do we not have the right to freedom of religion?
Question:
Who does it harm when a boy turns up to school with his hair shoulder length? I’ll answer this one!! No one; except the boy who is told to go home and not be himself but be whoever that principal decides he should be before he can attend school.
How does removing colourful hair accessories from little girls hair before they can go to class benefit anyone?
Jamaicans please wake up and let common sense prevail. Your rights are like muscle use them or lose them.
Government of Jamaica it is time to intervene and do right by our youths. Give them back their rights to be we they are. As we’ve all seen, the way you want them to be is way past failure.
