STOP INVALIDATING THE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS OF OTHER PEOPLE
Why this petition matters
We are all aware of the large number of persons who struggle with mental illness not only in our own nation but also around the globe. But did you also know that most of us dismiss or mock the emotions of others? Hello, my name is Yhishane A. Fabellore, and today I'm here to urge you to refrain from making fun of other people's emotions.
What exactly are the issues with mental health? A wide variety of mental health conditions—disorders that impact your emotions, thinking, and behavior—are referred to as mental illnesses, sometimes known as mental health disorders. Depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviours are a few examples of mental illnesses. More and more people in recent years have realised the true meaning of the word "world." The number of people who commit suicide and those who suffer from depression has grown or even increased in recent years. In any given year, according to my research, 20% of teens may deal with a mental health issue. 50% of mental health issues begin by age 14 and 75% by age 24, respectively. Many individuals mock this issue, especially those who are older than us and don't listen to us. People like this are an example of folks who make fun of this issue. When we disregard someone else's sentiments, this causes a lot of other people to suffer. Social media is one of the issues with this since it makes this problem popular. Mental health issues are not something to be mocked.
It is crucial to understand that not only the person with the mental illness but also their loved ones and the community require assistance. In conclusion, dealing with mental health issues can be difficult. It is possible to overcome, though. You must possess strength and unwavering resolve.
