A planning application, number 2021/09913/PA ,was made to install a telecommunications monopole on Birmingham Road opposite where the Wylde Green pub is being demolished.  Information in the application states that the road is a dual carriageway with a central reservation, this is a single carriageway with a strip of grass running alongside a service road. This will affect residents, a school, a nursery, Kids centre for children with special needs. The proposed care home, people using the bus stop, access to a small piece of green land in an area where there is very little. The installation is out of keeping with the local surroundings, will be in the immediate eyeline of multiple houses and pose a distraction to motorists at an accident hotspot, where motorists regularly attempt to overtake at a bus stop onto oncoming traffic. There are no pedestrian refuge islands on this carriageway. This proposal is fiercely opposed by local residents. We have until December 17 to raise an objection to this installation. This petition will be submitted by Cllr Alex Yip to Birmingham City Council full council meeting. Please support this if you can.  Thanks for your support.
