Deadly climate events such as drought, floods, and shifting patterns of rainfall have also influenced many people in developing countries and climate change is contributing to this problem. 

According to research, 5 children under the age of 5 in Africa die every minute.

Climate change and Conflicts are major factors of this global issue as different countries struggle to survive. Due to food and water shortages caused by climate change, countries fight for what they need which causes conflicts. This cycle repeats as countries lose power and dignity.
