STOP BOARDING & SENIORS HOUSES IN WRONG AREAS REMOVE FROM LEPS, & DCPS & R2 ZONES

  1. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING - ROB STOKES we have raised all the issues with you.  Please do not gazette the Frenchs Forest Precinct Plan until proper zoning scale down is built into all the roads off Frenchs Forest West.  We want current R2 blocks to be rezoned to R3 with reasonable height limits built across entire streets. The area is already being destroyed with 7 boarding houses so far.  This is bad planning and does NOT meet the needs of the community.  Families properties are being devalued.  Families are worse off financially, land is devalued and they cant buy the same quality of life elsewhere, nor rent properties out for market rates.  You have the power to fix this.  There is no point giving planning back to compliant Council's if they wont deliver the right planning outcomes for the community.
  2. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING please remove boarding houses from R2 zones and make this policy change retrospective.  
  3. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING please fix the SEPP and COUNCIL please fix the LEP'S & DCP'S to remove "BOARDING HOUSES" & "SENIORS HOUSING" from R2/RE2 Zones.
  4. ROB STOKES please listen to your Northern Beaches and Pittwater Constituents. Please urgently talk to GLADYS BEREJIKLIAN as we want BIO-DIVERSE NATURE STRIPS and ENDANGERED SPECIES across the Northern Beaches LGA PROTECTED IE: BAYVIEW GOLF COURSE, NEWPORT RAINFOREST, DEFERRED LAND etc from development.  Please request urgently allocation of Green Space funding to purchase and protect these sites forever.  Please allocate funding for the biodiversity study on the Deferred Land to Council.  This must be done as part of the new LEP.
  5. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING please reverse incorrectly approved SITE COMPATIBILITY CERTIFICATES and FIX the SCC process to include an appeal process.  PANELS should not be able to approve DA'S on SCC'S that BREACH SITE COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
  6. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING please place boarding house room limit caps on other zones such as R1 etc as currently there is no cap in these zones.  Micro Apartments are NOT low density.
  7.  WHY?  SO THAT HIGH DENSITY APARTMENT'S AND SENIORS HOUSING CANT BE BUILT IN QUIET R2 ZONED RESIDENTIAL STREETS OR INAPPROPRIATE AREAS SUCH AS BIO-DIVERSE NATURE STRIPS CONTAINING ENDANGERED SPECIES OR ON UNSUITABLE FLOOD PRONE LAND/DEFERRED LAND.

Northern Beaches local residents are Fed-up with Developers ruining the Australia Dream "THE FAMILY HOME, THE FAMILY STREET" and specialist nature areas in the Northern Beaches LGA.  Act Now make these changes put some faith back into your voters, your constituents!!!  Fix the Precinct Plan.  Make sure the new school will meet future capacity requirements as current schools are at capacity.  Upzone the streets of Frenchs Forest Road West to R3 in their entirety.  Ensure a world class design is delivered on the town centre which delivers the largest amount of greenspace.  We dont need 22 storey towers to get green space...
