In the town of Gainsborough Lincolnshire, an increased number of my friends have been informed that they HAVE TO sign up for online banking, irrespective of whether they have access to any kind of technology required to to use online banking. Banks are claiming that branches are closing on a national basis due to lack of people visiting those branches, but i believe there is a systematic strategy to force everyone to do online banking to save overheads and with a total disregard for people who cannot or who do not wish to choose online banking. Not everyone wants a cashless society either.
