Like me many of my friends are being affected by the FF55. As many of you know the FF55 deams that if you are missing over three days you have to make it up. Missing days can be appealed BUT many of us were denied the appeal. The time make-up rule says that any unexcused days (and excused) must be made up. But many of us were unable to do that. Take my situation for example, I'm making all A's in my classes. My days were missed do to surgeons appointments. I've given them Dr. notes for the missed days as well, and they were marked as unexcused and I'm being given an FF55. Many of us miss days for things we cannot control BUT we still do our best to keep our grades high. But this situation makes many of us feel as though our attendance is valued over our hard work to understand our work and make good grades. I even have a friend who is making straight A's and is not going to receive F's for every class over things she cannot control. This isn't right to those of us who have worked so hard these past six weeks for our grades.
