Etsy has begun charging their sellers an additional 15% on our sales for an “offsite advertising fee”. For example, if you sell an item for $300 you will get charged $45 if Google or another outside company had an ad on your listing. If you make over $10k a year, you CANNOT EVEN CHOOSE TO OPT OUT! If you make under 10k, you can currently opt out. Go to your selling dashboard and click on your seller settings. Then click on offsite ads and opt out. This fee is in addition to the fees we are already paying for listing and selling. Please sign and ask Etsy to stop making decisions on how we choose to advertise for our businesses! We are also protesting by setting our shops on vacation mode April 11th-18th. As a buyer, this also affects you because a lot of sellers will be forced to raise their prices by 15%! Please help your favorite sellers out by signing and/or sharing. Thank you!
