I resided to the George area in the Western Cape after starting a new job in the beginning of 2023. Just two weeks into this year, the load shedding stages is already unbearable with no time during the day to even think of making food or relaxing in front of any electronic device as Eskom won't allow it. Inverters are expensive and for people like myself who just started working its not a realistic expectation to afford one in the near future.

The biggest issue is paying for a service which we can't even use and that is unheard of in any other country. I realise its a longshot to try and change the way Eskom handles the electricity issue, but let us at least try and get competent people in the right positions to make a difference for the future of this beautiful country.
