I spent many hours listening to the lovely lady of the house talk of her life growing up in India as a child, on that verandah every afternoon with her dog ‘Tea’. Why destroy such beauty to replace it with mass ugliness

I lived accross the road from Rodley which was another historic house in Penrith, it was demolished and now there are 180 flats there. We need to preserve these beautiful old pieces of history, this has to stop.

Penrith has lost too much of its heritage over the years. Retain what's left for posterity.

There is very little heritage left in Penrith. We are fast losing the soul of our city as more and more period building are demolished and variation in the city architecture disappears due to urban consolidation.

It’s ludicrous to destroy heritage to protect heritage. The Powerhouse does not need to move. It is fantastic where it is. There is no shortage of locations for an additional Powerhouse site that do not involve smashing down beautiful buildings. Do not do this.
