Every year there are time trials for cyclists on the A14 where hundreds of cyclists race down the roads… however the roads are open as normal to traffic. Traffic going up to 70mph. Lorry’s, cars, vans and motorbikes all going at 70mph.  Both cyclists and drivers are put at the upmost risk of RTCs which in most recent years have been fatal to many poor victims. 

this simply cannot continue! 

There are SOME marshals along the roads however this is still not safe! Marshals cannot prevent cyclists from being hit by oncoming vehicles, marshals cannot prevent vehicles colliding with each other trying to avoid cyclists, marshals cannot prevent fatalities from occurring.  The only way to stop these tragic events is to STOP the time trials on such a DANGEROUS road! 

so many families have been left broken after hearing the world worst news that their family member simply isn’t coming home, this has to stop & it can stop if we prevent these trials going on! 

we need signatures to be heard so we can prevent more poor victims & victims families suffering!
