The Polk County Board of County Commission will be considering a Lake Hatchineha subdivision in October. On September 6th the School Board will be meeting about a land purchase in this area for two new schools. I am opposed to any spending of taxpayer funds without any public input from homeowners in region 4 of Polk County. We have not had any notification or input on the purchase and development of 100.32 acres of land in region 4. Which will be tied to a dead end, two lane road (S.R. 542). The application comment report written on 8/25/22 (Application #LDDRC-2022-281) list significant concerns that need to be addressed such as traffic issues, utilities, environmental concerns, etc. I do not approve of using my taxpayer dollars for schools without my input.
