Why this petition matters

The community in Northwest Harris County is outraged by the destruction of our forest, of our wetlands, the displaced wildlife and the absolute disregard from our local government, the Commissioner, TCEQ, Harris County Building Department, Harris County Flood District, any agency involved in the permitting process of the development of land in Harris County.

They are allowing these developers, once they purchase land to not follow federal, state or local laws, by approving all permit application no matter were they are located or what they destroy. Allowing them to build in federally protected wetlands, WOTUS, forest were endangered species live. Putting the residents that live there and there home in danger of flooding by developing on the land that once absorbed thousands of gallons of water.

They are supposed to be here to enforce these laws and make sure things are done correctly, but when you cant even get one of these government agency to return a phone call or allow the community a public hearing to voice there concerns, something is not right.

When developers are donating millions of campaign dollars to our County Commissioner, who is in charge of all the other government agency that approve this process, someone needs to answer. We deserve answers. Why are they letting them get away with this?
