As concerned citizens of Callaway County, we urge the state and local governments to put a stop to corporate solar projects that are proposed to surround homes, schools, churches, devaluing adjoining properties, and covering productive crop/livestock ground for 30-40 years. This will ruin communities, change livelihoods of those living nearby including various hazards involved, and throw a huge burden on the counties agribusiness’s. There is no place for industrial sized solar plants in residential and farming communities.
