The Government should regulate the construction in the mountains because so many trees are cut down in order to have a space for the building or any infrastructure. Cutting trees has lead to the increased number of landslides in the mountains because the roots of those trees which were holding the soil are no more there. Further, The loss of trees and other vegetation leads to flooding as well in case of heavy rainfall, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. It is also impacting the flora and fauna which are the beauty of the mountains. Hope Govt. will take strict and timely action considering the seriousness of the issue.!
