College Board claims to be a non-profit organization for students, yet they manage to make an "excess revenue" of millions of dollars off SAT fees alone each year. Is this a non-profit model? NO! We pay an average of $60 for an SAT, and many tend to take multiple SATs across their high school career. With simple math, upcoming college students face a high pay wall before even entering college, not including the inevitable college debt. Why should we, the soon-in-debt college students, pay our way for a slightly higher chance of admission into unpredictable colleges? We should stop the prices of SATs altogether to help aspiring graduates get into their dream colleges.
