I write this petition as a concerned patient who, along with my entire family, relies on the services of both the Greenlaw Medical Practice and the Pollokshields Medical Centre. Our local communities depend on these two medical centres for consistent, reliable care; the closure would create a healthcare vacuum that could not be easily filled.

It is important to note that not only our family but many families who are part of the community will be affected if these medical centres are closed down. These centres provide critical health care support for vulnerable individuals who may have serious consequences if denied timely care. Apart from patients, it is also unfair towards the staff working tirelessly in these facilities, whose livelihoods would be negatively impacted by the closure.

We urge the relevant health board/hscp to reconsider their decision and think about how it would affect patients, the working staff, and the overall community. We strongly ask for their intervention because without it, we'll face an immediate, significant threat to our local availability of healthcare.
