Climate Change is a vital issue desperately longing to be recognized by the World. Climate Change, as we know it, refers to the long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. According to Amitav Ghosh, "Climate Change is like death, no one wants to talk about it". 

The issue of Climate Change is ignored by politicians, people, directors, business owners and almost every group. It is never spoken about and when it is, it is not stressed upon. Adolescents and teenagers have more to lose from Climate Change than any other group as it gets progressively worse and its results may be dreadful.

Greta Thunberg, Adenike Oladosu, IIyess El Korbi, Dominique Palmer and so many other influential Climate Change activists have risked their lives and spoken out on this issue but their voices are yet to be heard.

In Nigeria, the issue of Climate Change is neglected and rarely brought up. It's not a topic an average person would talk about and this shouldn't be the norm considering the odds and how dangerous it is. Most Nigerians are not educated on the consequences of Climate Change or on the theory in general.

Now is the time to acknowledge this issue! SPEAK OUT! and call for CHANGE. The government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria should do more as regards the issue of Climate Change. They can do this by implementing big Climate Change programs, switching to more "green" methods of production/manufacturing and raising awareness.
