Stop children from being pushed too much to perform in sports

Young athletes are being pushed too much to perform at a certain level.  Many kids play a sport at a REP level (representative) and are pushed to perform and train more that 4 times a week. Basketball rep players have 3 training sessions and 2 games a week, but they also are told to practise at home or school when they can. They do all of this in addition to all the sports that they do at school. Because they train so much and do so much sport these athletes are very prone to get injured and missing out for at least 1 week.
