One of our main goals with this petition is to collect more than 50.000 signatures to get the attention of the German “Bundestag” and the governments in Africa to stop child labor. For us it is very important to talk about the problems that are created by child labor and find a legislative solution.

While we are waiting for a concrete law, we want to animate you to take action yourself! 

If you can afford to spend 92 cents per day, you can also sponsor a poor child to effectively improve their life. Via the organisation “Plan International” you can give children the chance to grow up healthy, educated and free from violence. In exchange you can have personal contact with your sponsored child, get photos and information about how your donation helps. 

And if you just want to make a small, uncomplicated donation, you can "round up" the amount of your purchase at the checkout in many shops. The resulting donations go to "SOS-Kinderdörfer", which are committed to qualified education for children in need and strengthen families in order to promote sustainable development.

Furthermore, you should carefully inspect labels and buy certified fair trade to rule out child labor.
