Chesapeake, Virginia is getting rid of government provided recycling beginning  June 30, 2022. Recycling is so important for trying to keep our earth healthy. Without government provided recycling, landfills will fill up even faster than they already are. Plastics will be spread around our city and will end up in our oceans. It is our responsibility as US citizens to speak up, to take care of our environment, and do what's right.
