A petition was started yesterday, 14th August, to stop World Class Referee Anthony Taylor from Refereeing Chelsea Football Club again. 
As a registered Charity supporting referees in the U.K, we, Ref Support U.K. thought we would response with a similar ridiculous and infantile petition.

Anthony Taylor is a proven world class referee, he was also widely praised for his actions when Christian Erikson collapsed in the Denmark v Finland game just over a year ago in the Euros.

Chelsea’s manager, he whom shall not be named, often acts like a child who has just been told he can’t have another packet of smarties as he has 3 packets already.

He hit the head lines last season with his rather good impression of Eminem when he was “spitting bars” at a forth official, allegedly because he had ran out of smarties again.

The Chelsea manager, who is also way to old to wear a baseball cap, but nevertheless still does, needs to understand that being a referee at world class level is a very difficult job made harder by the infantile ranting of a pretend rap artist and such behaviour will be mimicked by coaches and managers at youth level. Granted many of these grassroots managers will be wise enough to refuse to be seen wearing a baseball cap on national TV but they will still be silly enough to mimic his antics (probably with a lot less smarties consumed)

This mimicking will then affect child referees who will be lost to game for ever and then stem the flow to the top level. The whole game suffers because of these antics and exacerbates the clear shortage of referees.

We thought these pantomime antics has left the professional level of the game when Neil Warnock, welcoming retired.

So please join us in asking the PGMOL to tell Eminem Tuchel to ref his own bloody games.
