I know what are you thinking,  what's wrong with the dress code? There is nothing wrong with the dress code, but there IS something wrong with the way it is enforced In the dress code world, whether or not you get dress coded is heavily based on your body type. Two girls could wear the same pair of shorts, and the girl with a more feminine body type would get in trouble. Girls all over the world are being censored for their bodies, why would we want that to happen at school. It's understandable if there are actual dress code rules being broken, but from what I've seen getting dress coded has nothing to do with clothing at this point. there have been several comments made by teachers that are very inappropriate. Examples of this are phrases such as, "Wheres the rest of your clothes" or "Don't wear that it will distract the boys". It shouldn't be ANYBODY's obligation to cover themselves up based on how we think others will react. This is regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, etc. If there is really a problem with people being "distracted" by how others dress, then the person who is wearing the "distracting" clothing has nothing to do with the situation.
