Carroll County, Maryland is trying to ban all pride flags in schools. This will be highly damaging to lots of students in that county and even students outside of the county. As of Wednesday, June 8, 2022 the Carroll County School Board is trying to pass said ban. Although the ban does not specifically say no pride flags in schools; the ban does list the flags allowed on school property, and the pride flag is not one of them.
