Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung and DAAD⁩ are facing severe budget cuts. Many alumni of the two very influential research networks all around the globe are speaking out against the cuts and offer their reasons for this.

Prof. Nils Moosdorf (Kiel): "DAAD is a lighthouse of the German science landscape. They have supported countless careers and for sure increased Germany's reputation (and revenue) worldwide strongly. Yes, times are difficult, but this is the wrong institution to cut!"
