Stop all commercial zoning of 900 acres of Crownsville State Hospital grounds.

Crownsville, Md, specifically 900 acres of the Crownsville State Hospital grounds, has always been zoned rural/agricultural as we have sought to maintain our historical, cultural and environmental/ecological integrity.
Now the entire 900-acre property which sits upon and borders our rural country roads and historic General's Hwy is being threatened by commercial developers who propose to build a sprawling sports village with a hotel, retail establishments, stadiums, twenty-four football-sized athletic fields and parking lots to accomodate thousands of visitors annually.
The proposal will overwhelm the three-hundred-year-old character of Crownsville and the resident's quality of life.
