The toxic relationships amongst councillors has reach a point where residents say “enough is enough”. 
We the undersigned voted for better governance at the 2020 council elections. Since the elections the councillor group has been engaged in fighting each other and at times almost open warfare. The councillors are so consumed with lodging expensive arbitrations against each other that they are no longer focused on the needs of the community. We want a monitor appointed to force councillors to improve their behaviours. 
We urge the local government minister, Shaune Leane MP to intervene ASAP.
