Hi We are some kids that are just really eager to keep our bike jumps in Central Park Malvern East that we have been building in a deserted piece of the park no one really uses that often. We have spent weeks building these jumps and we have been going everyday meeting new friends and helping build more jumps and seeing them enjoy what all have us have built. We are always seeing a rapid increase everyday of more kids hearing about us and what we’ve built which is great to see the smiles on their faces but over the last week the Stonnington City council has destroyed and taken down these jumps and to see the distraught kids come to the jumps again and see them devastated is not nice to us so that’s why we want you guys to sign this petition. It would help us a lot if you could because it gets more kids to get of their screens and go outside on their bikes and have fun with the jump. I can understand where the council is coming from, maybe digging to close to the trees but weren’t damaging them in any circumstances and even if the council wanted us to is dig a bit further away from the trees. All we’re asking is to the council stop destroying our jumps and let us keep using them, because my understanding is the littler kids won’t understand why they took them down so the just go to another place and dig up more. We love what we’re doing but we don’t like it when you destroy them so LET US KEEP OUR DIRT JUMPS.
