This petition represents the community support for continued allowance of freedom of medical choice for our students and faculty in our school district. It is a schools obligation to provide an education for our children. It is a parent's responsibility to provide medical care and guidance to our children. 

There are effective preventative and treatment options for covid 19 and it's variants. Everyone in our community has either had covid, been vaccinated for covid, or been given the choice to deny the vaccination.

There are numerous studies identifying the risks, negative effects, and complications in mask use of children, both physical and psychosocial. Resources and references can be provided. 

Everyone wishing to wear a mask is given that right. Everyone wishing not to mask deserves the same right. 

America is land of the free and home of the brave. We will be both free to make our choices and brave to stand against the government bodies attempting to take these rights away. 

Parents do not wish to teach their children to be defiant or disobedient, but also have a responsibility to teach our children to stand up for our rights. 

The community and school board have already voted on this topic and majority vote shows that we wish for the optional masks.

Outside of our homes, local governing bodies are our first defense in standing strong as a whole. We turn to you as the governing body of our school district for your strength in fighting for our rights. See us, hear us, stand with us!
