Following the introduction of permit parking on Jackson street and the return to 'normal', the residents of Newboult Road are finding that at all times of day, the road is filling up with vehicles not belonging to residents and therefore are unable to park. 

It is now a daily occurrence whereby residents are having to park on surrounding  roads, having a knock on effect on those streets also, as there is nowhere on newboult to park.

During the day, people park on the road and get the bus from the end of the road, and it is not uncommon for cars to be left here whilst their owners get a taxi to the airport and disappear for weeks at a time.

The residents would like SMBC to implement a permit parking scheme (the same as other roads) to alleviate this issue.

New hey road has a recently approved scheme which will only serve to worsen the situation on newboult.
