Stillwater Board has proposed cutting down 740 pine trees from 87th street. This will reduce the tree count to 240 and that too only Maple trees.
All Stillwater residents especially residents on 87th street
Reasons why this should not be done
1. The cost of this initiative is very high ~ almost over $250,000/-.
2. The density of trees will decrease substantially on 87th street, aesthetically it will not look nice.
3. Homes near 87th street will lose their privacy after 740 trees are cut.
Cut and replace only those trees which are really dead and not which might die in next couple of years.
