Le projet STIF – SNCF est désastreux pour le patrimoine mondial et son Allée Royale classée :

• Il implante à 20 mètres de l'entrée de la Ferme de Gally, installation monastique du XIème siècle, un viaduc de béton.

• Il ne règle pas la nécessité impérieuse de créer un parking desservant à la fois l'Etoile Royale du Parc de Versailles et l'allée Royale de Villepreux.

• Il réduit la possibilité de stationnement à côté de la Grille Royale.

• Il rend quasi inaccessible la traversée piétonnière entre la sortie ouest du Parc de Versailles et l'Allée Royale de Villepreux.

• Il représente une verrue irrémédiable dans ce site trois fois inscrit (Monument Historique, Plaine classée, Patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco).

• Il n'apporte aucun service complémentaire aux habitants, visiteurs et usagers.

• Il engendre un gâchis financier de plus de 30 M € pour construire un ouvrage d’art inutile s’inspirant d’une technique dépassée.

Le STIF et la SNCF n'entendent pas remettre en cause ce projet alors que le contexte économique appelle à la modération des dépenses pesant sur les citoyens et qu'ils ne tiennent pas compte des avancées technologiques.

Le projet continue à s'arcbouter sur une solution Tram-Train qui ne pourra voir le jour que dans 20 ans. 

UNE SOLUTION ALTERNATIVE EXISTE

 • Elle s’inscrit dans le dessin voulu par Louis XIV et Le Nôtre, le tracé routier rejoignant l’axe de Fontenay déjà protégé dans Saint-Cyr-l’École.

• Elle requalifie le Grand Axe permettant la cohabitation des voitures et des trains.

• Elle préserve les abords classés de la Ferme de Gally, tout en favorisant l’accès par les véhicules et les piétons aux différents sites.

• Elle permet d’établir à la place du "Moulin", gigantesque bâtiment en béton des années 30 – à 10 mètres de l'Etoile Royale-,  un parking de 400 places utile aux visiteurs et usagers du Parc de Versailles et de l'Allée Royale.

• Elle se coordonne avec le futur aménagement du secteur Pion à Versailles.

• Elle s'inscrit dans un budget tout compris de 10 M€, soit 20 M€ d'économie.

Reject the plan for the viaduct in front of The Farm of Gally at the end of the Park of Versailles.

The STIF project – SNCF (FRENCH NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY) is a disaster for the world heritage and its classified Royal Path:

• Its implantation of a concrete viaduct is only 20 meters from the entrance to the Farm of Gally, a monastic installation dating from the XIth century.

• It does not resolve the urgent need to create a parking lot that is necessary at the same time for the Royal Star of the Park of Versailles and the Royal path of Villepreux.

• It reduces the possibility for parking next to the Royal Railings

• It makes almost inaccessible the pedestrian crossing between the West exit of the Park of Versailles and the Royal Path of Villepreux.

• It represents an irreparable wart on this site that has been classified three times (Ancient memorial, classified Plain, UNESCO world heritage).

• It brings no additional amenity to the inhabitants, visitors and users

• It engenders a financial waste of more than 30 M € in building a useless work of engineering inspired by outdated technology.

The STIF and the SNCF (FRENCH NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY) have no intention in questioning this project while the economic environment calls for moderation in spending weighing heavily on its citizens and they do not take into account more modern technological advancements.

The project continues to insist on a solution Streetcar-train which will only see the day in 20 years.

AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION EXISTS

• In remaining faithful to the plans set out by Louis XIV and Le Notre, with the road plan joining the axis of Fontenay already protected in Saint-Cyr-l'École.

• It re-considers the Main line allowing cohabitation of cars and trains.

• It protects the classified surroundings to The Farm of Gally, while favoring the access by vehicles and pedestrians to the various sites.

 • It permits in replacing the "Mill", a gigantic concrete building (built in the 30s and only 10 meters away from the Royal Star), with a parking lot of 400 places that is useful for visitors to the Park of Versailles and the Royal Path.

• It coordinates with the future development of the Pion sector in Versailles. 

• It remains in an all-inclusive budget of 10 M€, hence a 20 M€ economy.
